Coir fibre pith is produced as a by-product when coir fibres are extracted from coconut husks leaving the Cocopeat particale as a useful by product which can be use as a valuble sustrate for plant growth. Yet the indigenous know how of coir fibre pith, together with Norwegian commercial and agricultural expertise has established a joint venture company to process this into an advanced agricultural products.
We have over 10 years of experience in producing high quality treated coir fibre pith for the overseas market. We have combined such knowledge to develop highly successful coir based compressed Grow Pellet that can be used as a growing medium in horticulture, green house growing as well as tissue cultural application.
Our products are 100% organic and recyclable. Their carbon footprint is very low since they are produced from a renewable resource, using minimum machinery. Minimum machinery usage provides employment to nearly hundred unskilled female labours around the economically dis- advantageous area where the factory is located.
